
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized an online course on the safety of the Arabic language within the Ithra project
The aim of the course is to familiarize the participants with the topics of language safety to strengthen the
their skills, and their development, in reading and writing; To overcome spelling and grammatical errors in research and theses, university theses, and administrative correspondence.
The course, which was presented by the teacher Haitham Zaki Abdel Qader Al-Farani, included several topics, namely: the rules of writing the hamza, the Alif Alfariqa, the Waw group, the rules of writing Tanween, the punctuation marks, the rules of writing the open ta’, the bound, the case, the subject, the daad, the za’

In the end, recommending the continuation of holding such courses, for the various segments of society, the various state departments, and the private sector; To enhance the ability of its employees to develop their language skills, overcome spelling and grammatical errors, and increase course time; To cover more topics in language safety
