The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized an online lecture on the guiding role of the university professor (enhancing psychological immunity as a model).

 The aim of the lecture, which is part of a developmental training course for faculty members in teaching methods, is to develop the counseling skills of the target group of the course, and to enhance their counseling competencies and their role in guiding and guiding their students in addition to their educational role.

 The lecture presented by Dr. Maedeh Mardan Mohi Al-Taan included a statement of the guiding tasks of the university professor and how the university professor deals with crises and shed light on the concept of psychological immunity and its importance for students and the procedures adopted by the university professor to enhance the psychological immunity of his students.

 In the end, the recommendation was to intensify the courses aimed at developing the counseling skills of university professors, to be provided by professors specialized in the field of psychological counseling in the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance and the Counseling Center
