The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized a course on administrative leadership skills

The objective of the course, which is for those who hold a position at the University of Basra, is to introduce leadership and leadership qualities, develop leadership skills according to different styles, grade levels, and train in the practice of planning, foresight, and formulation of goals.

The course, which was presented by Dr. Mazhar Abdel-Sada Hanin, included the most important topics of the course: the definition of leadership, the leader, levels of leadership, the difference between leadership and administration, leadership of work teams, proactive leadership, the role of the leader in institutional strategic planning and the development of administrative leadership skills.

In the end, the demand was to prepare programs for preparing leaders, developing their skills, and refining their expertise for the purpose of developing institutions and transferring them to higher levels of quality production and development.
