The continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basra organized a workshop in cooperation with the Basra University of Oil and Gas, organized a workshop about” the culture of logic and its relationship to the nature of work”.

The objectives of the workshop are to acquaint individuals with the importance of the culture of logic and its a great role in creating harmony in various environments.

The workshop which was Presented

by the teacher, Fatima Hadi Ahmed, including an identification of the role of the culture of logic in creating harmonious, relationships between individuals.

The workshop also included an explanation of the most important models of the culture of logic, as the first model included intellectual compatibility and cultural compatibility, in which the human relationship is a seamless and integrated as a result of the equivalence that exists between the two individuals.

the second model, it is intellectual difference and cultural compatibility. In this case, the two people are on the same level of culture and knowledge. However, what prevents them is the intellectual difference, as a result of the beliefs held by each of them, and in this case it may lead them to reach a dead end; Especially if each of them insists on adhering to his ideas and principles and refuses to give up any of them for the sake of the other party.

Many people overlook this reason - culture - and exclude it in the relationship - whatever its kind - as if it has no value in it or influence on these people. The cultural relationship between two people has become easier for them to continue and develop this relationship based on what is compatible with their ideas and beliefs.

But if one of the two people is more cultured and has more knowledge, this is where the problem begins, as this leads to a gap that leads to the loss of an essential link in the nature of the relationship, which is understanding or compatibility.

The cultural and cognitive development that took place in the last millennium made culture a cornerstone that cannot be ignored in human relations, in addition to that the technological development that facilitated the ways of obtaining knowledge, and this in itself makes us stand before a critical question - somewhat - which is whether it can stand Knowledge is an obstacle to human and social relations? The answer is simple and clear, yes, as long as there is a cultural difference between people, this makes the relationship in a state of permanent swing, and puts it to the test. Hence, we must pay this aspect a lot of attention and take it into consideration if we decide to enter a new relationship.

At the end of the workshop, the presenters recommended the importance of promoting the culture of logic in society through the role of the university institution in holding workshops and seminars that talk about the importance of a culture of logic.
