Basra University holds a lecture on facilitation strategies and teaching methods for the fifth unit

The Center for Development and Continuous Education at Basra University organized a lecture on facilitation strategies and a course on teaching methods for the fifth unit for all disciplines.

 

The lecture, presented by Dr. Mustafa Abdul-Ridha Kazem and Dr. Rafed Abdul-Jabbar Muhammad, covered facilitation strategies, teaching methods, feedback, and micro-lectures. It included a definition of how to conduct lectures and break the barrier of fear among students by focusing on scientific content and setting goals that align with time, as well as defining strategy, academic activities, and types of teaching strategies. The terms "program," which refers to a set of organized and coordinated activities, and "method" were explained, along with types of teaching methods, the terms "model" and "style," and the importance of introduction, preparation, and conclusion.
