
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized a lecture on soft skills in teaching for the humanities specialization.
The lecture, which is part of a course on teaching methods for the humanities specialization, aims to enhance soft skills in education among university professors to improve academic performance and develop their leadership skills.
The lecture, presented by trainer Tharaa Abdul Rasool Hassan, included a detailed explanation of the linguistic and practical concepts of the lecture, including the skill and why we use the adjective "soft" for such a concept, as well as how to apply these skills to develop self-learning among learners and enhance innovation and entrepreneurship. It is expected that these skills will play an important role in the future, as well as the ability to comprehend, analyze topics, engage in critical thinking, make smart decisions, solve problems logically, and effectively utilize technology to achieve educational purposes.
