The Center for Development and Continuing Education at Basra University conducted the seventh unit on Quality in Education for the Educational Specialization as part of a teaching methods course. The lecture aimed to introduce trainees to the concept of quality in higher education.

The lecture, delivered by Dr. Zainab Falih Salem, defined comprehensive quality in higher education as a set of characteristics and standards that should be present in all elements of the educational process, whether related to inputs, processes, or outputs, to meet the needs and demands of society, as well as the desires and needs of learners. This is achieved through the effective use of all human and material resources within the educational institution.
