University of Basra holds a course on the integrity of the Arabic language

The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra held a course on the integrity of the Arabic language.

 

The course aims to familiarize trainees with the diagnosis of errors that affect the Arabic language in order to avoid them.

 

The course, presented by Dr. Abbas Abdul Aziz Saihoud, included an explanation of the basics of the integrity of the Arabic language and common spelling, morphological and syntactic errors and how to correct them and clarify the most important topics that fall into the integrity of the Arabic language, which are the types of cases of drawing the hamza and the difference between the tied and long taa, the difference between the letters (ād) and (ā), the alif of separation and the soft alif, the subject and the predicate, kāna and its sisters, an and its sisters, punctuation marks, number and the counted.

 

The course recommended the importance of keeping pace with linguistic development and disseminating it to the segment of specialists and employees
