
The Development and Continuing Education Center at the University of Basra held a training course on writing official books in administrative communications, with the participation of a number of employees and affiliates. The course aims to familiarize participants with the basics of writing official and unofficial books, the mechanisms of responding to them, as well as the basic rules that must be followed in preparing official forms. The course, taught by Alaa Nasser Dawood, included a definition of the importance of the official book, its types, and the characteristics of the administrative letter. The course also addressed the technical principles that must be taken into account when writing letters, the rules for preparing administrative letters, the correct phrases to be used, and ways to avoid common linguistic errors in writing.
