The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basra held a lecture on measurement, evaluation and feedback in medical specialization for the third unit of the fourth teaching methods course.

The lecture aimed to define the concepts of measurement, evaluation, assessment, evaluation, and feedback, their types, their importance, the use of feedback to improve the learning and teaching processes, the types of measurement tools and distinguishing between them, and equipping the target audience with the necessary skills.

The lecture, presented by Dr. Qutaiba Muslim Dawood and Dr. Khadija Sami Madi, included the definition of measurement, evaluation, assessment, the purposes of measurement, types of evaluation, and the examination map, with examples, tasks, and the ease and difficulty coefficient.

The lecture recommended the necessity of using educational objectives in measurement and evaluation, using the exam map in preparing the evaluation, and using feedback to improve defects
