
The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basra held a course on the integrity of the Arabic language.
The course aims to familiarize trainees with the diagnosis of Arabic language errors in order to avoid them.
The course, presented by Dr. Abbas Abdulaziz Saihoud, included an explanation of the basics of Arabic language safety, common spelling, morphological and grammatical errors and how to correct them, and an explanation of the most important topics that go into the safety of the Arabic language, namely the types of cases of drawing the humza, the difference between the tied and long ta, the difference between the letters (zad) and (za), the differential thousand and soft thousand, the beginning and the news, "was" and its sisters, "if" and its sisters, punctuation marks, number and numeral.
The course recommended the importance of keeping abreast of linguistic development and generalizing it to specialists and employees.
