
The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basrah organized a lecture on professional ethics as part of Unit Six in the fourth Teaching Methods Course

The lecture was delivered by Dr. Munaf Abdul-Kadhim Mohammed, Instructor Marwa Musa Atwan, and Dr. Qutaiba Muslim Dawood. It covered the concept of professional ethics across multiple disciplines and highlighted the key qualities and characteristics that educators should possess.
The session also emphasized the importance of ethics in education, stating that a teacher must exercise self-control and not view their academic title as a personal achievement. Moreover, it was stressed that educators do not have the right to refrain from delivering lectures, as such behavior negatively impacts students and future generations.
