University of Basra holds a lecture on ethical decision-making for the sixth unit of the humanities

The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basra held a lecture on ethical decision-making for the sixth unit of the humanities as part of the fourth teaching methods course.

 

The lecture aims to train university professors in the humanities on how to make ethical decisions in academic work.

 

The lecture, presented by trainer Tharaa Abdul Rasul Hassan, included defining the importance of ethical decision-making in the academic environment and the role of ethics in promoting integrity and transparency in the fields of education and scientific research. The basic principles of academic ethics such as honesty, justice, and respect were discussed, in addition to how to deal with the challenges that academics may face in making decisions that affect the course of education and research. It also reviewed practical case studies that illustrate the impact of ethical decisions in academic life.
