University of Basrah Holds Lecture on Ethics and Professional Ethics for Medical Specialization

The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basrah held a lecture on ethics and professional ethics, Unit Six, for the medical specialization, as part of the fourth teaching methods course.

 

The lecture aimed to identify behaviors that violate the ethics of the teaching profession among trainees.

 

The lecture, presented by Dr. Qutaiba Muslim Dawood and Dr. Mays Basil Jalil, included the principles and ethics of the teaching profession, the code of conduct for the teaching profession, the duties of the professor toward the student, and the relationship of the university professor on campus with his colleagues and staff.

 

The lecture recommended adherence to the ethics of the teaching profession in terms of the professor's relationship with the student and with his colleagues, and the rejection of unethical behavior.
