The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basrah conducted the updated Teaching Competency Test for humanities-related specializations, with the participation of several applicants from the relevant colleges.

The test aims to evaluate applicants’ proficiency in presentation, communication, and classroom management skills, in addition to assessing their knowledge of modern teaching methods and academic quality standards.

Dr. Mohammed Imad Kazem, Director of the Center, explained that these examinations are part of the university’s plan to enhance the quality of education and to prepare faculty members capable of performing their academic duties with high efficiency. He further emphasized the Center’s commitment to continuing its training programs and periodic assessments to further develop the skills of new instructors.
