University of Basrah Holds Lecture on Instructional Design in Administrative Education

The Center for Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a lecture on instructional design as part of the second unit of the fifth Teaching Methods Course in the administrative specialization.

 

The lecture, which is part of the fifth Teaching Methods Course for the administrative field, aimed to equip participants with modern instructional design skills aligned with blended learning standards.

 

Delivered by Lecturer Marwa Mousa Atwan, the session covered the concept and importance of instructional design, the distinction between instructional design and lesson planning, types and benefits of instructional design, as well as the theoretical foundations and stages of the design process. It also highlighted the characteristics of effective instructional design models and introduced key models, including the ADDIE framework and Bloom’s Cognitive Taxonomy.
