The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basrah organized a lecture as part of the fifth Teaching Methods Course for the applied specialization, entitled “Measurement, Assessment, and Evaluation – Unit Three.”

The lecture aimed to clarify the fundamental concepts of measurement, assessment, and evaluation, with particular emphasis on the role of feedback and the use of rubrics in enhancing educational performance.

Delivered by Dr. Zainab Ali Khalaf, the lecture addressed four main themes: measurement, assessment, evaluation, and feedback. It also included practical activities and group discussions that contributed to reinforcing the practical understanding of these concepts and strengthening trainees’ abilities to apply them in the educational process.
