The Center for Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a lecture on assessment and feedback for agricultural and veterinary specializations, as part of the third unit of the fifth Teaching Methods Course.

The lecture aimed to enhance trainees’ capabilities in the areas of measurement, evaluation, and feedback within the university educational environment, while equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to adopt blended learning approaches.

Delivered by Dr. Alaa Tariq Abdulwahid, the lecture covered the concepts of measurement, evaluation, and assessment, their types and functions, as well as the meaning and role of feedback, technology, and evaluation tools. It provided trainees with comprehensive knowledge, tools, and methods related to assessment and feedback, empowering them to select appropriate strategies for effective teaching — particularly in agricultural and veterinary sciences.
