The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basrah conducted the updated teaching competency test for specializations within the field of educational sciences, with the participation of a number of applicants for teaching positions at Iraqi universities.

The test aims to measure applicants' competence by assessing their specialized knowledge and pedagogical abilities, as well as their skills in delivering academic material using modern and effective methods.

The test included multiple topics, including teaching methods, educational assessment, and classroom management, in line with university education requirements.

Dr. Mustafa Abdul-Ridha Kadhim, Director of the Center, emphasized that this step is part of the university's plans to improve the quality of education and achieve academic accreditation standards.
