The Center for Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized an online seminar on effective classroom management, with the participation of a group of faculty members and specialists in the field of education.

The seminar aimed to reduce teachers’ stress in classrooms, help them acquire classroom control skills, and foster positive values and attitudes such as self-confidence and responsibility, thereby instilling in students a more effective learning approach.

The session was presented by Lecturer Muhannad Khudair Dhiab from the General Directorate of Education in Basrah. He discussed the concept and objectives of classroom management, its different approaches—such as chaotic, democratic, and authoritarian styles—alongside an overview of common classroom problems, steps for successful management, and proposed solutions to address behavioral challenges.
