
The University of Basrah has launched simulation-based assessments as part of the fifth updated curriculum Teaching Methods Course for all disciplines. During these assessments, trainees presented before committees of ministerial expert trainers, who evaluated their performance based on delivery skills, body language, and subject knowledge within their respective fields.
The purpose of the assessment is to empower trainees to contribute to the development of academic staff in Iraqi universities, in line with the standards of scientific rigor and excellence.
The simulation process involved trainees presenting before committees of ministerial expert trainers to evaluate their teaching performance according to the high-quality and academic integrity standards adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. A total of 233 trainees from various southern provinces and diverse specializations participated in these evaluations.
