The Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basra organized about New Directions in Teaching Methods and Techniques.The aim of the workshop, which is presented by Dr. Haidar Mohsen Al-Shuweili, is to acquaint the  subscribers with the new directions to develop teaching methods and techniques .The workshop included the definition of recent trends in teaching methods and methods of behavior, minimising the complexities in the teaching method based on feedback, using the student ideas,variety of questions, etc,

The presentation dealt with the planning skills and their sub-skills related to the formulation of teaching objectives, analysis of the content of subjects,the planning of daily lessons, performance skills, and other skills such as: rectification and use of  media educational techniques.                 

At the end of the workshop, the presenter  recommended the above-mentioned information through excuting the plans and fulfilling their objectives
