The Center for Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a lecture titled “The Difference Between Ethics and the Ethics of the Teaching Profession” for the fields of agriculture and veterinary medicine, as part of the sixth unit of the fifth Teaching Methods Training Course.

The lecture aimed to enhance trainees’ understanding of the concepts of ethics and professional conduct, and to highlight their role in shaping the instructor’s character and positively influencing the educational process.

Delivered by Dr. Muhannad Abdul-Hussein Aboud, the lecture discussed the distinction between ethics and teaching profession ethics, the importance of adhering to professional principles, as well as the presentation of professional conduct guidelines and ways to reinforce ethical values within academic work.
