The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah conducted the updated Teaching Competency Test in Educational Sciences, with the participation of a number of faculty members applying for the examination, under the supervision of a specialized scientific committee.

The test aims to assess scientific and pedagogical competencies and to measure modern teaching skills in accordance with the standards approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, thereby contributing to the enhancement of the quality of the educational process.

Those in charge of the test affirmed that this step comes ضمن the university’s plans to strengthen the professional development of faculty members and to ensure that they possess the necessary skills to keep pace with contemporary educational developments, in a manner that positively reflects on the level of academic performance at the university.
