The University of Basra organizes a workshop about the basics of personality analysis and its relationship to teaching

The continuing Education and Development Center at  The University of Basra

organized an online workshop about personality in light of the theory of the thinking compass, and choosing the appropriate teaching method for each type of thinking as a developmental course for theteaching staff.

The aims of the workshop:  to acquaint the trainees with the type of their personalities and it's differences according to their thinking ways , they can be trained to apply that by dealing with their students by considering the individual differences between students.

The workshop which was presented by the director of the center, Dr. Nidaa Muhammad Al-Yasir, included a presentation of the mechanism of the brain's work, in the light of the latest scientific research  and the (Hermann) scale for the participants to know the dominating parts of their brains.

The workshop discussed how to prepare lessons for each of the student’s thinking patterns according to the theory which classified the dominant ways of people: objective, executive, creative, and emotional.

At the end of the Workshop, the recommendation was emphasising the necessity to know his thinking style to know the thinking pattern of the lecturer's students and then the reasons for their behaviors.

It is also necessary to the lesson be prepared in light of these four patterns within the theory of the brain dominance
