The Continuing Education and  Development Center at the University of Basra organized an online workshop about The Basics Of Comprehensive Quality Management.

The aims of the workshop, which is part of the leadership skills course

are to instill The Concepts Of Comprehensive Quality Management, and the answering the question: does it

deserve this effort?

It also dealt with providing opportunities for dialogue and discussion of quality issues, helping to create a positive background and thinking to achieve better results and performance, and to encourage and adopt the use of the best applications suitable with the local environment climate.

 The workshop that was presented by Dr. Orouba Rashid Ali Al-Badran included a detailed explanation of a general introduction to Quality Management and focus on the customers, good human resource management, effective processes, and common mistakes when implementing quality , as well as the the role of leadership, improvement, continuous development, and change management.

At the end of the workshops, the presenter recommended that it is necessary to train and qualify state staff according to the latest reach of advanced organizations in the field of modern practices in administrative work, without oveooking the privacy of the environment of Iraqi organizations
