The Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basra.            

  organized an online workshop about   The Concept of Training for Human Resources Management,         

 The aims of the workshop, which is part of a training course,are  to enable participants to know how to conduct the training process where the individual can work to acquire the skill and learning.

The workshop which was presented by the lecturer Areej Karim Rahman included identification of the concept of training as the continuous organized process that provides the individual with the knowledge and skills required to perform specific work or to reach a specific objective, and the training elements that are represented by the inputs:a set of systems, procedures, methods, and tools that are used either to transform inputs or add new features to them. The outputs: They are the achievements or results of the training work.

The training objectives: providing the individual with skills, information, and experiences he lacks, new behavioral patterns and trends in for work, improving and refining existing skills and abilities of the individual. And finally,  fostering the concept of belonging to the employees' organizations, through blending the interests of each of them into one template.

At the end of the workshops, presenter, the recommendation was on the necessity to set appropriate mechanisms for the training and development process that update with technology, and managers should determine the place of training in the proportion of the nature of the skills acquired by the individual worker within the training and development center
