The University of Basra organizes a workshop about the multiple intelligences and the modern teaching strategies

The continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basra

organized an online workshop about the theory of multiple intelligences and the modern teaching strategies emanating from it.

 The aims of the workshop, which is part of the course for developing teaching staff in teaching methods, are to enlighten the trainees with the theory of multiple intelligences, distinguish the types of intelligence and their various activities, and to introduce them to the most important strategies that emerged from each type of intelligence.

 The workshop which was presented by Dr. Saad Ali Zayer included the definition of the theory of multiple intelligences, its origins, the founders, and an explanation of the various types of intelligence, including linguistic intelligence (verbal): strategies, activities, logical intelligence (mathematical )strategies, activities, (visual spatial-intelligence, strategies, activities, and intelligence.  Motor (physical), strategies and activities, musical intelligence (rhythmic), strategies and activities, social (interpersonal) intelligence, strategies, activities, and subjective intelligence (interpersonal - reflective - within the personal - inner), strategies and activities

 Natural intelligence (environmental), strategies, and activities and applied aspects of each strategy from the above.

At the end of the workshop the presenter   recommended  that it us necessary to use these strategies in classroom education in the future,because it is mportant in developing the teaching process
