The Continuing Education and Development
Center at the University of Basra organized an electronic workshop through a live broadcast for participants in the Iraqi provinces on the methodology of scientific research in the light of the qualifying course held by the Center for postgraduate students of masters and doctorates who desire obtaining a license for the teaching profession.
The aim of the workshop is to introduce how to conduct scientific research.
The workshop presented by Dr. Amer Abdul-Nabi Al-Abadi included how to define the research problem, its objectives, its hypotheses, the limits of research, defining terminology, and areas for benefiting from previous studies in order to follow scientific research methods in the field of competence, preparing data collection tools, and drawing research conclusions in the light of the research results.
In the end, the recommendation was that it is necessary to continue presenting the subject of scientific research, in theory and in practice, for researchers since they joined postgraduate studies as scientific research is the second goal of the university
