The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized a lecture on educational content.

The aim of the lecture, is to familiarize participants with the educational content and its importance in providing learners with important information that is consistent with educational goals. The lecture is viewed as a part of a developmental training course for faculty members in teaching methods.

The lecture presented by Dr. Bahaa Shubram Ghadeeb included an introduction to the educational content. It identifies the components of the knowledge system, and the steps for selecting content. It also  recognizes the most prominent criteria for selecting content, the mechanism for organizing educational content, and the standards for organizing content.

Finally, it is recommanded that the educational content should be consistent with international standards and be compatible with the objectives envisaged by it. The course also recommended that the educational content should be renewed to keep pace with modern developments at all levels
