The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra is organizing an online workshop on Test Anxiety Syndrome and the Path to Success. The objective of the workshop is to help students achieve their goals and strive for academic success, whether they are primary, preparatory, or university students. Ultimately, success is a proud accomplishment that reflects a strong will for a better academic life and a promising future.

 

The workshop, presented by Dr. Abdul Kareem Zair Al-Mouzani, covered the topic of test anxiety syndrome, its types, symptoms, cognitive and psychological causes, and how to deal with it. The workshop also discussed various treatment methods.

 

In conclusion, the recommendation emphasized the need to organize workshops for educational staff and higher education personnel to discuss the situation and activate the role of psychological counseling in schools and universities. It also recommended conducting lectures throughout the academic year on the topic and activating the role of media in educational ministries and institutions to propose successful solutions. Furthermore, it called for educational ministries to select specialized professors to develop modern and non-ambiguous model questions
