The objective of using information systems is to help decision-makers obtain information quickly and with high accuracy, so that they have a clear understanding of the required issue, after which appropriate decisions can be made and information can be provided to all employees to help them perform their job activities quickly, with high accuracy and the ability to process and store a huge amount of information and data, as well as easy access to information and results at the lowest cost.
The course, presented by the instructor Ghadaa Youssef Abbas, included an overview of information systems, their objectives, features, elements, and components (physical entity, programming entity, data, and internet connectivity), an overview of administrative information systems, their objectives, features, benefits, and stages of designing administrative information systems (data collection, analysis, programming, and report submission), an overview of health information systems, their objectives, features, elements, and components, and an overview of geographic information systems, their objectives, features, elements, and components.
Finally, the recommendation was to pay attention to modern technology and increase its use to a greater extent, in order to quickly retrieve information with high accuracy, at a low cost and in a short time
