
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized a lecture on Employee Relationship Management. The objective of this lecture, which is part of a training course for middle-level management roles, is to establish healthy relationships between employers and employees, improve relationships between the organization and its employees, and clarify the foundations of the connection.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Arfat Nasser Al-Youssef, covered an introduction to Employee Relationship Management, the importance of this management, its objectives, the role of an Employee Relations Manager, and the essential qualities they should possess. It explained how this management works to enhance internal relationships, safeguard employee rights, and improve the social culture of the organization by enhancing interactions among individuals, their supervisors, and ensuring their rights within the institution.
In conclusion, the recommendation emphasized the need for individuals to recognize the importance of Employee Relationship Management, focus on managing employee relationships, promote a culture of love and respect among working individuals, address their interests, protect their rights both financially and morally, conduct annual employee evaluations based on objective criteria rather than personal judgments, invest in employee training to enhance their skills, remove obstacles, foster their commitment to the organization's interests, and ensure their dedication towards it
