The University of Basra hosts a lecture on Mental Health and Its Relationship with Work Mastery

The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized a workshop on mental health and its connection with work mastery. The objective of this lecture, which is part of a training course for middle-level management roles, is to clarify to the participants the impact of mental health on their work proficiency.

 

The lecture, presented by instructor Duaa Mohammed Khalifa, covered topics such as mental health, the factors affecting an employee's mental health, including the nature of their work, working conditions, work-related values, and employee needs and satisfaction.

 

It also emphasized the significance of mental health in society, emotional balance, the work environment, and social adaptation.

 

In conclusion, the recommendation stressed the necessity of raising awareness among employees about mental health, reducing the stigma associated with mental health issues in the workplace, recognizing the importance of emotional balance during moments of anger at work, and selecting a capable leadership and managerial figure who can form a collaborative and respectful relationship with their team
