The Center for Development and Continuing Education at Basrah University organized a warehouse management course on October 31, 2023. The course was attended by a number of students and professionals from various sectors.

The course was delivered by Dr. Arij Karim Rahman, an assistant professor at the University of Basrah. The course covered a variety of topics, including:

* The function of warehousing

* The goals of warehousing

* Warehouse systems

* The role of the warehouse manager

* Factors affecting warehouse design

* Factors to consider when planning a warehouse

* Fires, their causes, and how to prevent them

* Safety and security programs

* Major group codes

* A video demonstrating how to organize and operate a warehouse

The course was designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage warehouses. Participants learned about the different aspects of warehouse management, including storage, inventory control, and security.
