President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Saad Shahin Hamadi, inaugurated the second unit of the Teaching Methods Course, updated for the southern region. In his speech to the trainees and teaching staff, he emphasized the importance of these courses in teaching methods, praising the efforts of the Center for Development and Continuing Education in providing the best for the efficiency and quality of education.

Professor Dr. Haider Mohsen Al-Shuwaili, a faculty member at the University of Thi Qar, College of Education for Pure Sciences, delivered a lecture for all specializations on instructional design, including educational and teaching design. He presented plans that make assessment, development, and application essential and successful tasks. The lecture covered dealing with inputs, highlighting the key and surrounding interventions in the general teaching system. It also explained the outputs, which show whether the results are unsuccessful or successful. The lecture facilitated interactions between the lecturer and participants through discussions, gathering ideas, and emphasizing the importance of practical implementation.
