The Continuing Education and Development Centre at the University of Basrah presented a lecture about “ SWAT analysis."

The objectives of the lecture are to enable trainees to acquaint themselves with the significance of SWAT analysis in education, identify its elements, distinguish between them, and apply SWAT analysis in educational processes.

 The session, which was presented by the instructor, Dr. Nahla Hadi Jasim from the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, covered SWAT analysis and its elements, its application in education, the steps involved, and recognizing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The emphasis was placed on the importance of SWAT analysis, utilizing a model for application with illustrative examples.

 At the end of the session, the presenter recommended the necessity of encouraging trainees to incorporate SWAT analysis in educational planning, applying the SWAT model to enhance positives and face challenges, and particularly focusing on using SWAT analysis tools in preparing effective synchronous lectures
