The University of Basrah is organizing a course about” warehouse and procurement management

The Development and Continuing Education Center at the University of Basrah organized a course about” warehouse and procurement management.

The object of the course is to enhance the trainees' skills in warehouse and inventory management, reflecting on their professional and practical lives by keeping up with the latest updates in warehouse and procurement management systems, including modern knowledge and technology.

The course, which was presented by lecturer Jaafar Ghazi Abdul Razzaq, involves the concept and functions of warehouses, storage objectives and specialties, types of warehouses, warehouse management operations, systems, and technologies used in warehouse management, as well as the roles of warehouse managers and supervisors.

At the end of the course, the recommendation was for employees, officials, technicians, or anyone interested in working in the field of warehouse management to utilize knowledge in warehouse management and to base their work on professional and scientific factors combined with modern systems and advanced technology to facilitate warehouse and inventory management processes, resulting in a positive impact on the organization or institution by reducing costs and increasing the benefits of the administrative process in general.
