The Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basrah

The objective of the course to The aim of the course is to enhance participants' capabilities and skills and familiarize them with the inventory system, starting from the stage of acquiring material resources to the stage of pricing outgoing items and inventory control. Participants will gain knowledge and awareness of the documents and records included in the inventory system, as well as understanding the control procedures of the inventory system.

‏The course, which was presented by Dr. Ali Majid Hadi, included an introduction to the documents and records encompassed by the inventory system, pricing methods used in the inventory system for outgoing inventory items, inventory system control, addressing inventory discrepancies, and understanding their causes. It also covered the relationship between the inventory system and other departments.

At the end of the course, the presenter recommended the necessity of using updated inventory management software, training staff, and conducting more courses to optimize resource use and prevent waste.
