The Centre for Continuous Development and Education at Basra University held a lecture on an introduction to learning and education for the first module of the teaching methods course

The objective of the lecture, which is part of the teaching methods course, is the updated curriculum for the southern region within the medical specialization

Dr. Mays Basil Jalil's lecture at the Faculty of Medicine at Basra University included:

Define the concept of learning and education and differentiate between them and identify the types of learning and education and the pillars on which the learning and education processes and the surrounding factors influencing the effectiveness of learning and education. A number of individual and collective activities were also introduced during the lecture with some tasks required of participants to answer it and upload it to the electronic class of the medical specialty group

Finally, the recommendation was that modern methods should be used to prepare lectures and involve students in lecture as the focus of the educational process.
