University of Basra Holds Lecture on Developing Digital Content for the Fourth Unit of the Applied Specialization

The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra held a lecture on developing digital content for the fourth unit of the updated curriculum teaching methods course for the southern region within the applied specialization.

The aim of the lecture, which is part of the updated curriculum teaching methods course for the southern region within the applied specialization, is to equip trainees with knowledge on designing effective electronic lectures and PPT presentations.

The lecture, presented by Dr. Mais Basil Jalil, a faculty member at the College of Medicine at the University of Basra, covered the concept and importance of electronic lectures, the different types of e-learning, and how to design an effective electronic lecture. Additionally, it addressed how to prepare an effective PPT presentation to develop trainees' skills and improve digital content. The session also included various individual and group activities, along with tasks for participants to complete and upload to the dedicated online class for the applied specialization group.

In conclusion, the recommendation was made to become familiar with modern electronic platforms for preparing lectures, to engage students electronically, and to focus on their role in the lecture as they are the center of the educational process
