The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a lecture on common teaching methods and facilitation strategies for the fifth unit of the updated curriculum teaching methods course for the southern region in the applied specialty.

The aim of the lecture was for the trainees to become familiar with common teaching methods, distinguish between them, and choose the best method for each educational situation. The lecture, presented by Instructor Kayan Abdulaziz Mutlaq, a faculty member at the Center for Information and Communication Technology at the University of Basrah, included content on the presentation of common teaching methods, related activities, and academic tasks.

In conclusion, the recommendation was to use the knowledge gained from the lecture in teaching, to try to blend these methods according to the educational situation, and to focus on using modern technologies towards blended learning
