The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah organized a course on administrative corruption.
The aim of the course is to introduce the concept of corruption, its manifestations, its forms and types, the consequences of corruption, and then to identify the means and tools that can be used to address administrative corruption.
The course, presented by instructor Yasmin Najm Abdullah Al-Saad, included the following topics:
- The general concept of corruption
- Types (manifestations) of corruption (political, financial, administrative, ethical, etc.) and reasons for the spread of the phenomenon of corruption
- Administrative corruption and its types
- The consequences of corruption
- Mechanisms to combat corruption
- Means and tools to address corruption
In conclusion, the recommendation was that there should be continuous reforms and efforts to address administrative corruption for positive change. This requires the efforts of all sincere individuals to save future generations and protect our nations, stemming from our faith, culture, and distinguished identity.
