The Center for Development and Education at Basra University has opened the eighth and final unit of the updated teaching methods course for the southern region. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Naeem Mankhi Awda, a faculty member at the Southern Technical University, who introduced trainees to various fields of scientific research, including stable and non-stable natural phenomena, as well as emotional and affective matters that cannot be measured absolutely. He explained the steps of the scientific method in research, addressed the ethics of scientific research, and demonstrated how to use modern technologies, information containers, computers, and the internet.
Subsequently, Dr. Mais Basel Jalil, a faculty member at the College of Medicine at Basra University, gave a lecture on research methodology, the benefits of publishing in international scientific journals, skills development, the importance of scientific research, identifying problems and finding solutions, and the ethics of scientific research.
The event concluded with recommendations on the principles of the teaching profession and the importance of maintaining the integrity of education to advance towards global rankings.
