Basra University Holds Lecture on Scientific Research Methodology for the Eighth Unit of the Teaching Methods Course in the Medical Field

The Center for Development and Continuing Education at Basra University held a lecture on the scientific research methodology for the eighth and final unit of the updated teaching methods course for the southern region within the medical specialty.

The aim of the lecture, which is part of the teaching methods course, is to develop trainees' skills in writing scientific research, understanding the characteristics of scientific research methodology, and the general attributes and how to publish in reputable journals.

The lecture, delivered by Dr. Qutaiba Muslim Dawood, a faculty member at Al-Zahraa College of Medicine at Basra University, covered the nature of scientific research methodology, types of scientific research, general characteristics, how to structure and write research papers, how to search for reputable journals, and understanding global scientific standards and publishing processes.
