The Center for Development and Continuing Education at Basra University held a lecture on research methods and techniques for the eighth unit of the updated teaching methods curriculum for the southern region, specifically within the fields of agriculture and veterinary medicine.
The aim of the lecture, which is part of the updated teaching methods course for the southern region, is to introduce trainees to the research methods used in scientific studies.
The lecture, presented by Dr. Zainab Faleh Salem, a professor at the College of Education for Human Sciences, covered the concepts of scientific research, the necessary skills for conducting scientific research, and how to apply them. This was done through an explanation of the steps involved, accompanied by illustrative examples. Additionally, it covered the types of research, how to write scientific research, the concept of a research plan, the importance of scientific research, and the requirements for a research plan, including its components.
In conclusion, the lecture emphasized the importance of studying scientific research, as it provides us with the necessary scientific methods to improve our lives, work, and self-development, thereby contributing to the enhancement of the academic institution's scientific standing.
