University of Basrah holds a course on administrative investigation

Center for Development and Continuing Education at University of Basrah held a course on ministerial administrative investigation.
The aim of the course is to develop the university staff and university leadership according to the ministerial program.
The course, presented by the legal expert Sajjad Sabah Idham Al-Hijami, included important topics, including the concept of administrative investigation, its purpose and importance, in addition to the duties of the public employee included in the State Employees Discipline Law and the Employees’ Conduct Regulations, and explaining the concept of disciplinary violations and the reasons for their occurrence, in addition to evidence of proof, investigation methods, explaining disciplinary penalties, how to organize the investigation file and the authorities competent to impose the penalty.
Finally, the recommendation was that participants should be familiar with the administrative investigation procedures in order to follow the correct legal procedures when running for membership and chairmanship of investigation committees
