The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized a lecture on clinical lesson design in medical specialization for the third teaching methods course.

The lecture aims to equip trainees with the design of clinical lessons and its steps.

The lecture, presented by Dr. Mais Basil Jalil, addressed the concept of design, the concept of the clinical lesson and its steps, educational methods, the performance of the clinical lecture, and how to stimulate motivation.

The recommendation was to use modern methods in designing clinical lesson lectures with an emphasis on involving students in the lecture as they are the core of the educational process
