Basra University holds a lecture on measurement and nutrition in teaching methods for the updated curriculum for the southern region and for all specializations.

The lecture presented by Dr. Noha Hadi Jassem and Dr. Raef Abdul Jabbar Muhammad included two presentations detailing the fundamentals of measurement and evaluation, including tests and types of measurements such as nominal, ordinal, categorical, and ratio.

Assessment is estimating a specific matter, while evaluation is adjusting the course, and these concepts are related to measurement, assessment, and evaluation.

Additionally, the steps that make a teacher successful in delivering the scientific material to the recipient were discussed.

The lecture concluded with the emphasis on the importance of measurement, evaluation, and assessment, and knowing the methods that ensure fairness between the teacher and the student to achieve justice
