The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra organized a lecture on how to choose a scientific research topic for the eighth unit in the educational specialization within the teaching methods course.

The purpose of the lecture is to define the selection of a scientific research topic and the criteria for choosing scientific research (the research idea).

The lecture, presented by lecturer Naim Mankhi Awda, included sections on how to choose research and addressed its elements, including how to distinguish between results and conclusions in scientific research, recognizing the importance of recommendations in scientific research, and emphasizing that researchers should build upon where others have left off while adhering to the ethics of scientific research.
